Lady Gaga all Over YouTube
Lady Gaga's Bad Romance music video has made one the the most viewed videos on You Tube. With 184 million views it has surpassed the viral video Charlie Bit My Finger. With the spectacular editing and unique outfits it is probably one of Gaga's most stunning videos. Here's a link to the said video if you haven't already seen it (shame).

Google Tablet?

According to some Google may be coming out with their very own tablet. The tablet will be able to run android, of course. Google will most probably bundle the tablet with a version on Google Chrome. The company is working to get book and magazine content on it as well. Unlike it's Apple counterpart it will run flash and games (YES!). I wonder if it has internet on it (well duh it's Google). Well I personally can't wait. The one thing that makes me think the Apple iPad is lame is the fact that it refuses to run adobe flash player so hopefully this will be the better new and improved version :D. I am looking forward to this.
Next of Kin?

The new Kin phones :D They are called Kin one and Kin two. They are based all around social media, basiccally the whole idea behind that is that your sharing everything that goes on in your life. Facebook, twitter, you name it. These phones are really designed for people who like those sites. Along with people who text a lot, email a lot, you know all of that social networking stuff. The Kin one (is smaller in size) has a 5 megapixel camera whereas the Kin two (the larger one) has an 8 megapixel camera. Along with a better camera, the Kin two has a better internal memory. Both phones are from Verizon and made by Japan's Sharp corporation.

Robots doing Chores?

I never thought it would come to this. Robots can now do common everyday chores. Researchers at UC Burkley have taught a robot how to fold towels. The Willow Garage PR2 can roam an office in search of a power outlet as well as identify that a towel is a towel. It will then proceed to fold the said towel. Once the towel is folded it will be neatly stacked. The Willow can do up to 25 towels per minute. What a funny way of timing towel folding.
Feminine Camera?

The Sony W350D! A camera ladies can cope with. Nice, compact, and it comes in pink, what more could a lady wish for? So anyway, the colors are "Jewel Pink" (notice the rhinestones), and "Precious White" (also with rhinestones). It has 14 megapixels, 4x optical zoom, and a 2.7 inch LCD. It also comes complete with face detection and captures 720 PHD video. I goes on sale in Japan on April 23'd for around $290.
Need Batteries

Having trouble with batteries that just don't last long enough? Well no more worries! Thanks to Hitachi you'll never have to deal with short term batteries. INTRODUCING HITACHI'S 10 YEAR BATTERIES! Imagine only having to go to the store every decade to buy batteries! No more annoying trips because your radio isn't working, or your kid's toy car....wont work. Back to all seriousness though. Hitachi thinks that they will be releasing these super batteries some time next year.

3D DS?

Nintendo says that in about a year they should be coming out with a 3D DS. You may not even need to wear 3D glasses for this gadget. Ninteno has JUST launched the DS XL so for them to release another DS so soon seems to be pretty rushed. I guess Nintendo really wants to jump on this whole 3D craze before it goes away. It will be compatable with older DS games, however that's all we really know right now. All I would like to know is if it can play GBA games...probably not. >.> *sigh* goodbye old school gaming.
Google Maps Update~!

You can now check hotel prices on Google maps. Yup, just enter the dates that you will be staying in a given city and Google maps will give you real prices on select listings of hotels in that area. If you click the price you will see a list of advertisements that provide information on that hotel, indicated by a sponsor text sign. You can actually click all the way through to reserving the room. This sounds pretty convinient to those who like to travel. Before now the biggest problem was being able to compare prices of hotels, but not geographically able to compare them. Have fun!

China?

China has now blocked Google from mainland computer in response to Google removing filtered search results. On monday Google redirected Chinese users to their Hong-Kong site where the search results are not filtered. Later Chinese users complained that they could not get Google content because government computers had either disabled searches or blocked links to certain results. This does not apply to all Chinese users, just some of them. Anyway, China's biggest mobile company, China mobile, is canceling a deal that uses Google as it's primary search engine. This is just one of the partner ships that Google seems to be loosing over in China. Honestly I think that this is pretty childish of China. If you don't want your people to see something bad, then don't do it. That's what I say.

3D TVs

Both Samsung and Sony have released some launch information about their awaited 3D TVs. Sony's 3D TVs will be out on June 10th; starting around $3,800 these TVs do not come cheap, however they do come with 2 pairs of 3D glasses. If you want more than just 2 pairs you can go out and buy them each for $150. Panasonic just started to sell THEIR TVs this week in Best Buy stores. Samsung is selling it's merchandise through online sales right now. LG wants to start selling theirs in May and Vizio is scheduled for Augest. If i'm correct, this either going to flop or be then next HUGE thing.

XBox Orientations
Yes, now you can be completely open with your sexual orientation on XBox Live. Why couldn't you do this before you ask. Well the makers of XBox were afraid that the word gay would be used in a derogatory way so it was banned. Now that the feature has been added to your profile, lets hope that people can be mature.

The Lemur

With all these large touch screen interfaces out there, it just is such a large thing. There is now a multitouch interface made for the soul purpose to mix music. It is called the lemur, and honestly the entire topic just blows my mind. If you like to mix music than this is just right for you. It apparently makes the whole process so much easier. Here's a link to a website that will give you more information. JazzMutant.com

GARH!

Will it ever end? Soon there will be more e-readers than there are books. Yeah I'm talking about e-readers again. Now it's Asus who has decided to come out with their own e-reader. It's called the DR-900. It has a 9 inch screenat 1024x768 using e-paper display technology. It has 4 gigs of storage and an SD card slot, it also supports wifi as well as an option for 3G. Oh and it supports MP3s as well (whatever that means). *sigh* by the time this e-reader craze is over i think the littlest of tiny children will have one. I think the next new thing will be the holographic e-reader.

Texting 101

LG is sending out texts to parents informing them on the what to know about texting and their text obsessed kids. Some of the texting tips include things like "What is sexting", "What is text etiquette", "What are the dangers of driving and texting" (well I WONDER), and others. If you really are interested in this then you can get more information at http://www.lge.com/us/mobile-phones/text-education/homeroom.jsp
Nintendo E-reader

Gosh at the rate that E-readers are coming out, I think i'll go and make my own. Nintendo has decided that they want in on this money train as well. Nintendo has no modified it's DS to be a, guess what, and E-reader. They have come out with a cartride called 100 classic books. It'll have 100 public domain books by authors such as Jules Burn, Bram Stoker, and Jane Austen. This'll be good for new upcoming DSI XL (that's alot of uppercase letters), which has bigger screens and it folds open just like a book. The DSI XL will be coming out March 28th. The 100 classic books cartridge will be coming out June 14th at a total of $20.
Google and Italy?

A court in Italy has convicted 3 google employees. Why you ask? Well apparently it's because google had a video uploaded that was illegal. Might I remind you that this video was uploaded in n2006. The video had some kids beating or bullying an autistic kid. Therefore the employees, who were just made aware of this face, were convicted. The problem at hand is that the employees had nothing to do with the video, and pulled it as soon as they were notified of the said video. If people working for a site are going to get convicted for people misusing their product. Does this mean that sites such as Chatroulette or YouTube are in trouble?

Street Fighter 4

Street Fighter 4 (the lite version) has come out for the IPhone. Obviously it won't have a huge selection like the console version, however they did keep some favorites. Some fighters they do have would be Chung Lee, Rai Yuu, and others will be available. The price will be $9.99 (yeesh!) in the ITunes store.

Chatroulette

Oh my gosh. If you are faint of heart do not look up this site. It's another one of those online chat sites. You log on with your webcam and you chat to people. The problem with this site is the same problem any chat site has. There is a wonderful amount of perverts on. People just log on with their nude selves and wait for someone to come along. Gosh, there really should be some kind of nudity filter on this thing. >.>

;P sorry

I've been a bit caught up in work. Sorry about that, I've been working on my movie for new media. I'll be up and blogging starting today.
So i'm going to tell you about my new media movie instead. The movie I was "slaving" over is an interveiw. Not just any interview either. We interviewed the different grade levels at CHAMPS to see the different veiwpoints of students at a charter high school. :D

Love Music?

Then you'll absolutely love this site. It's called thsixtyone.com and it gives a whole new experience to looking for new music. You can search through genres, playlists, and many others. While listening to the band you will get little pop-ups of random info about the band like history and showtimes. The site is just put together so well, and it's fairly easy to navagate. I think I've found a new favorite site :D

WELL! Here's a reason to keep/put your clothes on while calling customer support lines. THEY SPY ON YOU :O They apparently can take over your webcam and....stare...at..you >.> I don't know why they would need this, but the point is that they CAN. So if your favorite pastime was calling customer support lines naked...well now your being watched doing it. O.o

The ENDING?!

So on my journey for new a anime series to watch as I am done with the previous (Gakuen Alice :D) I stumbled upon something awesome. When looking through a list of unwatched series I saw the title "Inuyasha: The Final Act". I looked at it thinking it was just a few episodes that I had missed or watched yet. Determined to finish the anime I though to be done I clicked. To my surprise it was not just a few episodes that I had missed. Oh no, this was an ending to the Inuyasha series. Why is this such a big thing? Well, as all anime freaks should know about, the previous ending for Inuyasha....sort of sucked. It was the cliche, stupid of stupidist endings you could possibly have. They ended it with them running off into the sunset saying "Let's Go Defeat Naraku Together!" or something of that sort. They run off in to the fudging sunset. How stupidly cliche is that? Well anyway, they've decided to finally make a 26 episode adaption of volumes 36 to the end. They've entitled it "Inuyasha the Final Act". So far there are only 17 episodes so here's waiting for the official end of the Inuyasha saga.

Gmail secures their mail
GMail has made their site just a little safer. They've changed the site address from http to https. This helps to encrypt your messages as they go from your browser to the server. Of course, with the good there is always the bad. This will slow down your computer while you send messages. This is why Google gives you the option to turn this feature off. Of course now https is the default for it so you can just go to settings and turn it off if you wish.
Wii+Netflix

The Wii will now be able to stream Netflix movies. You need to have an unlimited movie plan with Netflix which costs about $8.99 a month. You need a disk to run this service and Netflix will send this to you for free. You stuff in in the console and you can stream movies. This aparently coming this spring. So something to look forward to I guess.
Google and China?

Google has decided to put an end to self-censorship. Google said that they're not going to self censor search results anymore and they seem to be upholding that. So now if you type in things such as Tienanmen Square then you will actually get information on it instead of the censored results you would get before. Who knows how China will react to this, but we'll see how this power-struggle plays out.

No Spiderman?

Yeah it's true. Spiderman 4 (which I forgot was even being made) is putting a hault on their production. They're going to start fresh with a new director and cast. Not only are they doing that, but they're starting with a whole new storyline focusing on Peter as a teenager. Why are they stopping production in the first place you ask? Well Sam Raimi pulled out of Spider-Man 4 because he felt he couldn't make its summer release date and keep the film's creative integrity, so a I said before they're all out. There is also some speculation that this new film franchise will be in 3D.

Hologram Stars?

Well then. They are now planning to generate 3D images at the Golden Globes. They call this the "hologram glam cam". Why you say are they having this at the red carpet? Well they're showing the star's past red carpet fashions. Basically they're trying to make holograms more mainstream in life; in this case by embarrassing the stars by pointing out their old fashions. How wonderful.
Intel's Wi Di

Hmm WiDi...I see. Well that most certainly doesn't sound familiar *cough*WiFi*cough* Hahaha anyway. This new technology will let you stream media from your PC right over to your TV using 802.11n. This allows for faster streaming from internet media to your television. This WiDi will be bundled with certain Sony products such as televisions, laptops, and more. It will be shipped out in a matter of weeks. Oh joy :D

Apple Tablet

I swear somewhere in the line of robots and mimes, Apple is going to take over the world. Apple is now coming out with a tablet. It's an even more portable computer. It's like a computer had babies with an iPod touch. So anyway, it's kinda like a bigger version of an iPod touch only it has a normal destop...like a computer. See where i'm going with this?
Project Natal
Woah, okay to some of you this might be old news but not for me. I've just learned about Xbox's Project Natal. It's like a wii only you don't need the wii's nunchucks. For this all you need is yourself. There's a little sensor that sits atop your TV and it scenes your movements and allows you to control what's going on in the game just by moving. So if you want to kick a ball you just kick your leg. O^O It's apparently going to come out in 2010.....oh hey look...IT'S 2010 :O
